Thinking about living in Snohomish, Washington? If you are looking for a quaint downtown (perfect for antiquing) or a farm-capable acreage, Snohomish, Washington has a lot to offer! Now, don't get confused, "Snohomish" is the name of a County, a cute Downtown, and a River here in the area north of King County where Seattle and Bellevue are located. Due to a high water table and flat geography, Snohomish, WA is home to many small farms, horse properties and the type of country living that is hard to find closer in to Seattle, WA. The first time I came to Snohomish, I was there to pick up a hive of bees for my yard. They also have a horse training facility in town, and a plant nursery, three of my favorite things. I found out at the Evergreen State Fair that there is a fruit growers club that meets here too, and I ended up getting lots of grafting wood for my own espaliered fruit trees in my yard here in Lake Forest Park. Snohomish is a freedom-loving town that saw a lot of growth 2020-2022 when people were working from home and moving out to the country for more space. It has reasonable commuter access to Everett and Bellevue, but it is "out there" in the country, more than the typical commuter-suburb would be. For more information, let us know how we can help!
