If you google best digital music distribution or distributor you will almost certainly come across DistroKid. Whether it is a Youtube producer or Youtube rapper, almost everyone is saying to use Distrokid. But while doing my research I came across one Youtube Channel, Pay Us No Mind, where he put this Youtube Money opt-in issue to my attention. I think I read it one or two places as well but it wasn't until I saw the video with him literally inside of Distrokid as if he was submitting a song. Once he selects hip hop or rap as his music category the Youtube Money service is removed altogether. In this video, I show you the clip of the YouTube Money service being removed when Hip Hop is selected. I also walk through the process of trying to find this Youtube Money for Hip Hop question and answer on the Distrokid website, and the struggle to reach out to them with my question.
