/ @millionplacesoneworld 🧡 Hello Amigas and Amigos in this beautiful day🫡 Today we are going on a date and mixing it up with traditional Portuguese foods🇵🇹 In this video, we are trying the rich and delicious world of Portuguese cuisine(once more), featuring some of the most iconic and flavorful dishes. We try Morcela de Arroz, Chouriço, Molotof Pudding, and Doce de Amêndoa—all traditional treats from Portugal, particularly in the region of Leiria (well, at least Morcela should be from around here)👌 First on the list - Morcela de Arroz, a traditional Portuguese blood sausage(enchido) beloved in rural areas, often seen as comfort food. Morcela has deep roots in Portuguese culinary history, going back to Roman times. It is made with pork blood, pork fat, rice or breadcrumbs, garlic, onions, and spices such as paprika, cumin, and black pepper. The sausage is traditionally stuffed into pork intestines and cooked by grilling, boiling, or frying. Morcela de Arroz is especially popular in the northern regions of Portugal, where rice is the key filler(sometimes onions). It is often served as part of stews or grilled alongside rustic bread and potatoes or without anything, like we tried😁 Next up, we try chouriço, another essential sausage from Portugal. Smoky, flavorful, and often grilled or fried, chouriço is packed with spices and is commonly served in a variety of dishes or as a snack. This was not the first time we tried it, but it was the best one we had so far👍 Thank you Mata Bicho! For sweet ending we ate Molotof Pudding, a light, fluffy treat that's a favorite in Portuguese homes(well internet says it is). This delicate pudding melts in your mouth, making it the perfect end to any meal. We also tried Doce de Amêndoa, a sweet almond dessert that combines rich flavors and a crunch—a real must-try for anyone who likes sweet😎 Drinks, because foods we ate are rich in flavors🍻 But better see it than to read it, so watch the video and leave a comment. It's always good to keep comment box active 😂 And we see you next time!🫡 Tchau!!!👋 #leiria #food #portugalexperience #foodie #comidaportuguesa #chouriço #morcela #matabicho #comendo #comida #millionplacesoneworld #portugaladventures #portuguesecuisine #portugalfood #portugal
