Today we will be making an adorable holiday fabric wreath! This wreath is super fun and easy to make in just under 10 minutes! If you’re looking for a quick project with great results, then stay tuned to learn how to make this fun wreath! Materials Needed: 2 yards of cotton fabric Scissors or snips Seam ripper 12” foam wreath Thread Needle Sewing Machine Packing Tape Ruler Iron Cutting Instructions: Cut length of fabric 72” long Cut width of fabric 6” wide from the fold (When you open fabric it should be 12” flat) If you are piecing the fabrics you are using, be sure to add in a 1/4” seam allowance when cutting. Sewing Instructions: Fold the top and bottom pieces 1/2” and press. Take to the sewing machine and sew a 1/4” to tack it down. Fold both long ends of your fabric 1/2” and press. Measure 3” from your fold and stitch all the way down your fabric creating an opening for your foam wreath. Take your open end and use a zig zag stitch to close the other side. Place your fabric on your foam wreath. Placing the wreath between your legs gives you more stability if you don’t have the upper strength to pull the fabric on the wreath. Once the wreath is on, take your packing tape and tape the cut end on your wreath. Fluff your fabric ruffles on your wreath and then hand sew the opening together. Viola! You’ve finished your project! Optional: You can purchase a sign from any hobby store or dollar store and glue onto the middle of the wreath. You can also make your own design and place it in the center. #thecraftyauthor #thecraftyauthorcrew #wreathtutorial
