First section of the trail is highly accessible. It takes you to a section of a babbling brook with a wide flat area under shade. Second section is a little less accesable. Rocky trail, steps and you need to rock hop across the stream. This section starts to put you into a canyon and shows some of its geological secrets. Third section will get your feet wet. The CCC tried to put in a trail with steps back in the 30's, but nature had a different idea. The canyon is narrow, tall, and while your watching where you step, you keep missing the canyon revealing itself. The payoff is a waterfall and so many geological oddities. You also see the ruins of the CCC's work.
