We are deeply saddened to share the tragic news of the passing of Arju Shrestha from Jhapa, who lost her life at a young age after battling cancer. Her untimely demise has left her family, relatives, and well-wishers in deep sorrow. Arju Shrestha was in Qatar for foreign employment when she was diagnosed with cancer. She later returned to Nepal for treatment. As further medical care was required, she traveled to India and was receiving treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, where she sadly passed away, according to family sources. During her treatment, Arju had appealed for support and financial assistance, and many kind-hearted individuals came forward to help. Despite continuous efforts and medical care, she could not survive. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family during this difficult time.
