simplifying and making the process of art clay silver less daunting! i have been working with this medium for over a year now, and have crafted my own unique "married to the mountains" and "married to the sea" collections. it is my goal to get you comfier and more acquainted with a medium full of lovely possibility and opportunity. disclaimer -- i am not an expert in polishing and know the way i showed is a little... weird. :) i'll be upgrading materials as i use up the ones i have. SHOP MOUNTAIN + SEA JEWELS, ORIGINAL PAINTINGS + STATIONERY →→ https://www.averysage.net support my patreon ᡣ𐭩 i have many tiers available for everyone. penpal, stationery, mystery jewels….. ᵕ̈ / averysage find me elsewhere ↓⋆˚࿔ / averyjewelss / averysagebrush / averysjewels one last tidbit + piece of advice :) -- do not make your ring band too thin!! if you make your band paper thin, it will lead to future breakage. there are many jewelers out there ready to dawg on you for making jewelry with silver clay and telling you that you cannot do such a thing. they are wrong and jealous. jewelry can be made with any silver, regardless of .999, .925, or .975. you have to be mindful of reinforcing your band/jewel with the appropriate of thickness in the vulnerable areas. i.e., think more light cardboard thick for ring bands, and making thick bails for pendants! :) I've had .999 silver rings last me years now, and they are still going strong, and I've had .925 rings break in a year. AND VICE VERSA. again, what matters, is the appropriate amount of reinforcement. thicken your ring bands, you won't really feel it, trust me. love you!
