I took a week off … and it’s the best thing I did for myself, for our kids & every thing in between. 🫶🏼 Fair week is CHAOS … and if it’s not - are you even doing it right !?! 4H & FFA is where both Jason and I found our passion for farming. Jason’s SAE project is the foundation to Our HAY business - and still going strong 15+ years later!! Fair Week brings back all sorts of memories growing up in the Livestock barn, but it also keeps you humble. You see all the hard work each child has put into their projects & animals. Animals that may misbehave; kids that are exhausted; parents who are trying to keep the crazy all together just for one more day - - It was seeing Kea & Jae work as a team to accomplish the calves. It was watching their nerves as they walked in the show ring, knowing their calves might not win, but coming out with huge smiles when their names were called as Reserve Champions & PeeWee Showmanship Champion.
