A quick video tease of Chuck Fishman (founder of FSQ) + his blog series "Don't Split The Streams". Part 1 of Series http://bit.ly/split_s Part 2 of Series http://bit.ly/split_streams_2 Music in this clip: FSQ - Vibe Out Now (Instrumental Version) More info: A featured artist can get a stream count if they are listed in the metadata field as a "main artist" along side the major "main artist". But then this is no longer a "feature", it is a "collaboration". This has to do with the way Spotify and Apple Music handle certain metadata fields to be able to count streams. I wrote more about stream counts and "featured artist" appearances in the 2nd part of my blog series "Don't Split The Streams". The series is a depth look at music marketing campaigns — including song exclusivity to specific music streaming platforms, and how music metadata fields are handled by such platforms can make stream counts vary wildly.
