EPIC 450hp TESLA powered BMW 3.0 CSi 'Batmobile' - Lightening Quick and For Sale !!!

The star of the TV show Vintage Voltage, this 450 horsepower Tesla powered 1975 BMW 3.0 CSi is now the star of the Bonhams Sale at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed. I first saw this car over 2 years ago when we were filming Series 1 of Vintage Voltage at Electric Classic Cars. The transformation is simply incredible. Not only has the car had a full nut and bolt restoration it has also had a dramatic change to propulsion power. Gone is the 3 litre straight six and in it's place is a large Performance Tesla motor and 85kw battery from a P85 Model S. The car will now hit 60 mph in just over 3 seconds and has a range of 180-200 miles on a full charge. On Friday this week it goes under the hammer at the Bonhams Sale along with a very eclectic mix of stunning vehicles.
