Mor Acro wears Moroccan clothes to the Spring Valley Nature Center, provided by the Schaumburg Park District in Schaumburg Illinois. The Spring Valley Nature and Volkening Heritage Farm are connected. The Volkening Heritage Farm celebrates and honors the German culture and pastoral ways of the 19th century. A model working farm complete with chickens, horses, cows, and pigs. The Spring Valley Nature Center features, prairies, wetlands, and forests. There is a heritage grove with trees that have been important to the Native people of Illinois. In spring time these tress bud beautiful flowers. Sadly there were no Argan trees from Morocco growing here. We are still settling in here after traveling from Morocco, taking our time and relaxing from our travels.
