This is our Tallinn Travel Vlog! We spent 5 nights in Tallinn over the 2024/2025 New Year. Celebrating New Year's in Tallinn is a magical experience, we stayed at the Hotel Telegraaf which enhanced the charm of this festive season. Located in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town, this hotel combines historical elegance with modern luxury, enabling us to walk all around the city. Some of the highlight of our trip included: 00:00 - Getting the Tallink MyStar Ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn. Josh talks through all the highlights 04:16 - Arrival at Hotel Telegraaf A quick look at the room and hotel 05:55 - Vene Street and St. Catherine’s Passage (Katariina Käik) A dreamy medieval alley with artisan workshops—perfect for picking up handmade ceramics or glass. 07:03 - Viru Gate, The Flower Market and Raekoja Plats (Town Hall Square) The center of the Old Town, especially magical during winter with lights, cafes, and markets. The Christmas tree was still up during our visit. Harju Ice Rink (Freedom Square) Skate in the heart of the city, lit up with twinkle lights. Josh shares his facts about Estonia 18:49 - Telliskivi Creative City A hipster heaven full of street art, galleries, cafes, and indie shops—perfect for a modern contrast to Old Town. 21:05 - Balti Jaam Market A modern food market with everything from farm produce to street food, plus a vintage section upstairs. 22:20 - Hellemann Tower & Town Wall Walkway You can literally walk the medieval walls here.
