The right BC pattern is a description of right torso overactivity seen in the typical right dominant human. The primary overactive muscles are the right pec minor and abdominal wall. This overactivity impacts torso rotation, respiration, and right and left shoulder function. It is usually found in conjunction with the left AIC pattern as defined by the Postural Restoration Institute. The Institute seeks to explain how asymmetrically designed humans tend to operate in upright activity in a right dominant position. When the right BC/left AIC patterns are overactive, they prevent necessary and complete weight shift over to the individuals left side. Over time, compensatory activity will occur, and this activity can result in tension and pain. https://pritrainer.com/in-person-trai... https://pritrainer.com/in-person-trai... 0:00 What is the right BC pattern? 0:57 The primary muscles of the right BC pattern. 2:00 The right BC and "right stance" phase of walking 2:39 How the right BC relates to the left AIC pattern 3:01 Is there a left BC pattern? 4:45 Objective testing to demonstrate right BC pattern activity. 6:27 2nd objective testing 9:48 why people sometimes think they are stuck on their left side 10:35 Techniques that can inhibit overactivity of the right BC pattern
