On Saturday 23rd September 2023 it was the open day at Metrobus Orpington (MB) as part of the 40th birthday celebrations of the garage being operational, with a number of heritage routes running with old buses mostly from Metrobus and Arriva. In addition, there was a first glimpse of one of the I.E Trams, which will be replacing the Mercedes-Benz Citaro's on route 358. It was a great day apart from some of the underage's deciding that they would treat some of the buses LIKE TOYS! like come on buses aren't toys I witnessed buses being broken into also emergency buttons being activated it's just not on especially with garage open days not as frequent as they were before.
