She earned her PhD from Zhejiang University in 2010 and then dedicated herself to marine geology research, becoming a member of China's Oceanographic and Antarctic research teams. Throughout her scientific career, Limei Tang has demonstrated exceptional efficiency in execution and precision in analysis. She participated in the first scientific expedition of China's "Jiaolong" manned submersible, diving more than 2,700 meters deep, successfully completing the sampling mission, and providing valuable data for the in-depth study of marine resources. This deep-sea expedition left a profound impact on her and ignited a deeper passion for scientific exploration.
