In this video, I will take a look at the JBL boombox vs the Harman Kardon Go+Play Sound and Lifestyle comparison. I think the choice between the two speakers is more than just about sound. The two speakers serve different lifestyles. Basic sound profiles The boombox is a louder speaker than the Go+play with a more live sound with very crisp highs and tight bass. You hear the ringing out of the cymbals, and the kick drum comes through with a nice punch. The Boombox is ideal for a listener that likes to listen to current pop music at louder volumes and go anywhere without worries. The Harman Kardon Go+Plays sound compared to the Boombox is a little richer and mellow the highs and lows are not as exaggerated as with the Boombox, but it still has a very an impressive bass. The Go+Play can sound better with older recording than the Boombox, but it does a great job with modern pop tunes. So if you listen to classic older tunes at more moderate volumes, the Go+Play is the better speaker for you. I made a sound comparison at the end of the video for you to have a listen. Although I believe, there it is no real comparison to listen to the speakers in the same room I did my best to give you an idea.
