Hey y'all! Ep 14 of When Life Gives You Tangerines was beautiful. I loved that it showed Eun-Myeong's perspective from growing up as the middle child in this household. It always surprises me how siblings can be so different from each other despite having the same parents, and I think Eun-Myeong and Geum-Myeong are great representations of that. They both have their own traumas and personal hardships with one being the middle child and one being the oldest. It made me sad to see Eun-Myeong resent his parents for not loving him the same way they loved his sister but I think as a kid, he just couldn't see that they were doing all they can with the cards they were given. No parent wants to give only one kid pork cutlet over another, but sometimes you do have to make these choices. I love that his mom apologized for making him feel that way and validated his feelings. I hope their family can come out of this financial slump and finally find some peace. Thank you so much for watching!
