Let's take a look at the last V8 muscle car available! Here is the 2026 Ford Mustang GT Coupe! This 2026 Mustang GT was even equipped with the 6 speed manual transmission and was finished in a new color called Adriatic Blue Metallic! With an MSRP of $58,500 and packing a 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 pushing 480 HP and 415 TQ. 0-60 can come in around 4.3 seconds and a top speed at 180 MPH. The 2026 Mustang GT is the current generation and has a very nice sharp style. Still has a lot of Mustang characteristics of the past, but wrapped in a modern style. This GT Coupe was more of a base spec, but it had the Space Gray fabric interior, upgraded wheels and Brembo brakes! This was a cool spec to get to really have all of the performance with less of the bells and whistles. The 2026 Ford Mustang GT drives very nice with a smooth ride and amazing sounding V8. Love the rumble of the exhaust and the smooth power delivery with this iconic V8. If only Chevy and Dodge could make a rival to this V8 muscle car! Interior has a lot more soft touch plastics then the previous generation and the two screens look pretty good and are easy to use. Not a fan of the plastic carbon fiber trim, but overall the base interior of the 2026 Ford Mustang GT is pretty nice. Overall the 2026 Ford Mustang GT is a great choice for a fun to drive muscle car with the old school V8 we all love! Drive modes even help the GT tone down to be a good daily driver and then can wake up a bit with a bit more precision. Of course a Mustang won't handle like a European sportscar at this price point. But the V8 character and interior practicality make this a cool choice for enthusiasts.
