Sculpting My German Shepherd in Monster Clay

This is our German shepherd, Circa. If you have ever noticed a hair in a close up shot of one of my video's, its most likely his. In celebrating the anniversary of his gotcha day (day we adopted him from the shelter), I wanted to try sculpting him in Monster clay! This is a pretty straight forward traditional clay sculpture. However, I did try something new with mounting the armature wire. I used a mini swivel head bench vise that was modified in order to hold a small piece of Plexiglas as a backing. This worked well and allowed me to change the position of the sculpture on the fly.
