Join me on a recent day of fly fishing Oregon's Molalla River! Been a hot minute since I explored the scenic Molalla River Corridor!!! I always have fun up here, but the catch is never consistent. It's just the reality of this river. But I did pretty good this time. Next time, I want to explore more and not film anything. Try to focus on finding new areas. Please don't ask for location specifics. My recommendation is to put on your explorer's hat, and move up and down the river, zeroing in on good looking trout habitat. There is plenty of space and not too many people. If you find evidence that the area is a swimming hole, move on. Flies used all day long were the Chubby Chernobyl, rubber legged stimulator, & elk hair caddis.
