Spotlight on Plus Size Sewing Patterns

I know so many of you are interested in sewing pattern brands that have a more inclusive size range, sometimes also known as plus size patterns, so I thought it would be useful to do a round up and highlight the brands that are moving in the right direction. As I mention in the video things are by no means perfect, however, in the last two years or so great improvements have been made and more and more brands are developing their size range to become more inclusive. There are some fabulous designs to choose from and more and more choice is entering the market every day for plus size sewing patterns. I've picked out 8 indie pattern brands who have multiple patterns with a more inclusive size range then briefly touch on the big 4 at the end of the video. To be included in this round up the patterns had to have at least one body measurement of 53" or more. This is the criteria used by Jenny Rushmore of Cashmerette patterns who completed a similar round up on her blog and is an absolute expert in the field. I'll talk more about her pattern range in the video - they are designed for curves.
