Our Best Day in Rwanda: Musanze

So it's been a minute. Business has had us working from "can't see morning to can't see night". We FINALLY have been able to get back to some normalcy. We've heard so much about Musanze in the North Province from so many, we just had to take a day and explore. It was perfect timing because we had our good friends from the States visiting and was able to enjoy this experience along with them. We visited the grounds where Rwanda hosts the gorilla naming ceremony. Although it wasn't taking place at this time, seeing the giant size gorilla and animal structures was fascinating to say the least. We ended with the Crowning moment at the Gorilla Guardians Village. Tribal drumming and dancing, King and Queen reenactment along with traditional wedding and reception. It was as if it was our first introduction to Rwanda.
