*Newly Extended* Route 241 Journey to Royal Wharf | 12410 (YY66PHV) | Stagecoach East London

The 241 was extended on Saturday 24th September. Over 4 months late due to development at Royal Wharf. The 241 extension is not too big but creates some very useful connections. Pontoon Dock will have a connection to Elizabeth Line station, Custom House & Beckton branch DLR station via Prince Regent. 241 will also finish later than the 330 making some journeys finish later than usual. The 241 extension calls at bus stops: Thames Barrier (Route 330 start point) Pontoon Dock DLR Station (for DLR towards Bank & Tower Gateway) Mill Road (last stop connecting with 330) Royal Crest Avenue (terminus & alight for Royal Wharf pier). How the extension works is after Mill Road, it makes a turn to Royal Crest Avenue with the terminus just next to the Royal Wharf pier to alight for boats. After the terminus, it will loop back and continue calling at stops: Pontoon Dock Station Thames Barrier Prince Regent where it will continue normal LOR. This extension is incredibly useful for the residents at Royal Wharf connecting to stations like the Elizabeth Line. Extensions are not always about speed and scenery. It’s how useful the route can be and 241 has proven that perfectly. Not much publicity just yet but as a local to the route, it is slowly picking up. Please ignore the 241 “tax” thing by a person that shall not be named. It’s purely to create attention and get on people’s nerves. Literally making a fool out of himself because it got posted on OOC.
