Ongjin County is a county in Incheon, South Korea and it consists of only a group of islands in the West Sea (Yellow Sea). Ongjin is originally the name of the Ongjin Peninsula which is currently belonging to North Korea. But after signing the truce agreement between North Korea (+ China) and the United States, almost all of the county territory remained beyond the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) and only a few islands were left in the south. So there are two Ongjin Counties in the Koran Peninsula now. Jangbong Island is one of Ongjin County's islands which is approximately 40 minutes away from Sammok Pier in Youngjong Island. The coastal ferry services are provided in the route of Youngjong Island - Sin Island (Sindo) - Jangbong Island lots of time every day, and it carries passengers and vehicles from island to island.
