Fujifilm XT3 - Firmware update 2.0 - AN HLG and F-LOG test (in REC 709) -

I was so excited to see today's announcement of firmware release. And knowing HLG has come for this little beast XT-3. Of course there are other major updates. But none of them, interested me as much as this one did. I as a GH5 user who has shot on HLG( purely as a picture profile) on multiple things, (I shot this video below on HLG on GH5)    • Видео   I expected HLG on fuji would be a game changer atleast for me. But it does come with a couple of problems. The most important one being the minimum ISO now is set at 1000 on HLG. Unlike 400ISO on GH5. It is a bit sad, but whom to blame?. Otherwise I love how they implemented the HLG(as picture profile usage). I am not planning to use it opposed to F-log yet until i do more tests. ( But F-log now comes with a 1.18 Crop ( WHY FUJI, WHY?) Is it just me who thinks it is from this update? or was it always on 1.18 crop? ) Update : Seems its just a bug in one of the settings. Set to SD FLOG & HDMI F-LOG in settings ( Thanks IHOR LYMAR) I am going to do more tests.
