Mr. Suryaman Shakya, Former Member Secretary of Environment Protection Council, sharing the story of his inspiring journey of pioneering amazing environmental initiatives in Nepal at The Storytellers - Pioneer Series - 2. After a decade long education and stay in the US , Suryaman Shakya decided to come back to Nepal. After coming back Shakya realized that there was no legislation and no regulation regarding environment. His education had become futile and he would have to start back from the scratch. His peers had already climbed higher in their careers while he was back at square one. Shakya is the Former Member Secretary of Environment Protection Council and currently is also involved as Visiting Faculty in Kathmandu University.
