His nighttime landscapes and flower portraits are my favorites. I also paint in my spare time, though I am no where near the proficiency of Vincent Van Gogh. But fact is, I identify with Vincent on many levels. Art is pain. Music is pain. I record my best music and I paint my best paintings, when I’m extremely emotional. Perhaps, people with abnormal circumstances simply turn to creative endeavors to release pent up anxieties.
