The Chronicles of Narnia is one of the different stories that CS Lewis wrote and which was dedicated for kids; it consists of a series of seven fantasy novels and is considered a classic of children's literature. The Chronicles of Narnia is a fantasy world of magic, mythical beasts, and talking animals; the series actually narrates the adventures of various children who play central roles in the unfolding history of that world. CS Lewis was actually inspired by different things while writing and creating the Chronicles of Narnia to the world; he was inspired by Christianity and he also borrowed characters and ideas from the Greek and Roman mythology as well as from traditional British and Irish fairy tales. Not just that, but Lewis was also inspired from his personal life and that appeared from the different stories of the characters; he was inspired by the large house he moved to at the age of 7 in Belfast, he was affected by the death of his mother and having to attend a boarding school, he was also influenced by the evacuation of children in World War II and those who stayed with him at his own home - The Kilns near Oxford - so it ends up that those magical stories which CS Lewis wrote at the end to the children were actually inspired from different things he passed by in his own personal life.
