Well, if you do love Rainbow Six, you'll most likely love Raven Shield. You'll find the same ultra difficult mission design, hostage-killing trigger events, and horribly inaccurate weapons (that's a new thing tho). Map design though is absolutely top notch as far as I see it. Beautiful locations, using the Unreal Engine 2 well. But there are some problems with the game. First and main one: AI. Your teammate's and enemies' alike. Both are buggy and irrational. And for some reason, the game a lot of RNG to it, so yo can fail the mission from the action that you can't control in any way on the other side of the map, because AI got bamboozled and didn't start shooting on sight. Second problem is with weapons. Apparently the enemy forces got much powerful and accurate weapons than we have. You can empty entire magazine into somebody's upper torso/head and still not kill him. But oh boy if the guy turns around and one shots you instantly. But then, isn't it the rainbow's spirit still alive and kicking?... Rating: 8,5/10.
