This is the sixth episode in a limited sub-series called "RFI Classics." Over the next year I will be archiving all of my old projects and short films from High School and the early 2000's, specifically everything I can find that I made between 1992 - 2005. SUITS was a 1996 class project that originated with Erik Dowd. Together we wrote a script in 4 days, attempted to shoot that script but instead ended up with this. Unlike the independent stuff we did on our own, the class projects always had a deadline and when one of your two leads doesn't show up for the 2nd day of filming, short films like this happen. So we did what we had to do to get it done and handed in on time. It was supposed to be a gangster drama involving two low level hit men named Trescott and Muss who work for their boss Mr. Capoli. They get in over their heads after attacking Mr. Dengar and bloody chaos WOULD have ensued from a lapse in judgement by Muss. I won't argue that the finished product is good. It's clearly not. But that script wasn't too bad. I still have a copy and it has always been something I would like another crack at. It still bothers me that we never got to tell the actual story we wanted to, and in the way we would have liked. Hopefully, with Erik's approval, I could dust off the old script and make this the way it was supposed to be made, but no promises there. It is something that we are discussing as a possibility at this point, but only as a possibility at this point in time.
