Shaykh Dr. ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥīm al-Bukhārī حفظه الله was born in al-Madīnah al-Nabawiyyah into a noble household rooted in knowledge and uprightness. His father, Shaykh ʿAbd al-Raḥīm al-Bukhārī, was a righteous man of knowledge, praised by major scholars such as Shaykh ʿUmar ibn Ḥasan Āl al-Shaykh, Shaykh ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Ṣāliḥ, and Shaykh Ibn Bāz, who all testified to his integrity, sound creed, and dedication to the Sunnah. Shaykh ʿAbdullāh began his pursuit of knowledge early, memorizing the Qurʾān and attending circles of knowledge in the Prophet’s Mosque. He was deeply attached to the sciences of ḥadīth and ʿaqīdah, studying under many of the major scholars of this era, including: Shaykh Muḥammad Amān al-Jāmī (he studied with him for over 10 years) Shaykh Rabīʿ ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī Shaykh ʿAbd al-Muḥsin al-ʿAbbād (accompanied him for over 16 years) Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Suḥaymī Shaykh ʿUbayd al-Jābirī Shaykh Ṣafiyy al-Raḥmān al-Mubārakfūrī Shaykh Aḥmad al-Najmī Shaykh Ibn Bāz, Shaykh al-ʿUthaymīn, and Shaykh al-Albānī He earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in Ḥadīth and its sciences from the Islamic University of Madinah, where he now serves as a professor in the Department of Sunnah.
