Fabric you will need - In order of appearance - ****************************************** ten (10) - 3 1/2" squares - red and blue scrappy mix ten (10) - 3 1/2" squares - white/muslin These will make 20 half square triangles for the border. star fabric - blue - 4 1/2"x 6" red strips - (you will need a total of 50" long) 1 1/2" x 6" -cut 2 white/muslin strips - (you will need a total of 44" long) 1 1/2" x 6 -cut 2 four (4) white/muslin - 2 1/2" squares flag stripes- red - 1 1/2" x 11 1/2" white - 1 1/2" x 11 1/2" red - 1 1/2" x 11" white - 1 1/2" x 10" red - 1 1/2"x 8 1/2" white - 1 1/2" x 6 1/2" red - 1 1/2"x 5" white - 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" red - 1 1/2" x 2" White/muslin - 8" x 11" white/muslin - 2" strips for three sides - total 42" long - cut to fit your banner white/muslin - 3" strips - amount will depend on how your half square triangles fit around the border. Use these strips to complete the border. 12" long will probably be plenty.
