The 11th and final feature drop of 2025, for the month of November (although it will release in early December), is here for devices on Windows 11 version 25H2 and 24H2 (KB5070311, OS build 26200.7309 and 26100.7309 - Release Preview has this and 26200.7296 and 26100.7296) with a bunch of additions to wrap up the year. The December Patch Tuesday (KB5072033 - OS build 26200.7462 and 26100.7462) expands the rollout to more devices. Dark mode is FINALLY being improved, with dark mode for file operation dialogs, including copy, being rolled out! There are also some UI improvements and refinements, with new taskbar animations for autohide and thumbnail previews. Settings has a ton of changes including an updated About page, new device card in Home, new keyboard settings page with options for repeat rate and cursor blink rate migrated from Control Panel, improved mobile devices settings and virtual workspaces options in Advanced. The Drag Tray can finally be turned off, Copilot+ PCs get Windows Studio Effects for more cameras and Paint Restyle, Magnifier gets improvements and more.
