VOX / PHANTOM, a personal short movie by Jean Touitou

Jean Touitou is happy to share a personal project called VOX / PHANTOM, a short movie which is a recall of his youth in Paris, with a lot of guitar feedback during a motorcycle ride. “After a certain time, you tell yourself that to put up with a world that is crumbling apart as well as philosophical questionings that are more and more intense, there is only one solution: let loose, do ambitious and risky things; surpass the limits dictated by social and artistic conventions. That’s why I wanted to make a little film about a motorcycle ride with a lot of guitar. This ride is about my youth in Paris. I felt this need to communicate with the people who follow my work at A.P.C. And I also had this need to do something stupid, with sound and fury. Now is the time when we must make each other laugh. Let’s face the facts: we have to find what makes us free from everyone else. We all need to learn, to create, to laugh.
