Campal Heritage Area, Panjim | 4K Goa India Walking Tour

In this walk, I explore the serene lanes of Campal in Panjim, Goa and admire some really beautiful heritage houses. Situated in the heart of Panjim and right next to St. Inez creek, Campal is one of the most well conserved heritage areas in the city. The name "Campal" is derived from Campal de Dom Manuel', named after "Father of Panjim", Dom Manuel de Portugal e Castro who developed it as a commercial area in 1830. There are many Residential Buildings of high architectural significance. The Goan-Portuguese architecture of some of the houses in this area is worth admiring. It is also home to Wendell Rodricks Design Space, a designer store by one of India's most prolific fashion designer Late Wendell Rodricks.
