The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) Force Investigations Unit (FIU) is among the first of its kind in the country. This group of highly-trained agents focuses solely on cases involving officer use-of-force, criminal sexual conduct involving officers, cases that would be a conflict of interest for a local department, or cases where both the alleged assailant and victim are members of the Minnesota National Guard.
