Yes it was a long journey but that was done with a seatfrog upgrade on the way out which was fantastic before making my way by bus shuttle into Heaton Depot for the event taking place. Lovely event put on by Northern but the crowding got bad especially on Saturday where Sir Nigel Gresly and the HST tour were coming in. Still though Sundays visit was peaceful... So you will see: Northern (150, 156, 158, 195) TransPennine Express: (802) LNER (801, IC225) Range of Visiting units in the nearby stabling point and a couple Special Guests: 142090 and Sir Nigel Gresly. Alongside HST Charter arriving in.
