How Many Tractors Could you Possibly Need! (Making Christmas Tree Ridges)

This video displays the process we use to make Christmas tree ridges. These ridges are about 18-20 inches high after we make them. This is to allow water to properly drain keeping not only the roots but the tree itself healthy. We start by subsoiling to help with drainage followed by a plow to make the ridge. It is then formed with our ridge former to make a nice round ridge and than seeded with grass to prevent erosion. These ridges will be planted for Christmas trees the following spring.
