What is PLANET IX? PLANET IX is a strategy game built upon a trading platform idea that, in due time, will connect the digital in-game universe to real day-to-day life. The virtual game plan is divided into PIX (tiles of land on the world map corresponding to actual sites) which can be bought in pack drops and subsequently traded amongst other players in our marketplace. Each PIX is categorised into different tiers, based on its location on the world map, as well as certain attributes. Your goal as a PLANET IX player will be to accumulate as many PIX locations as possible – either by acquiring PIX through pack drops, via trading in the marketplace or collaboration with other players. The more you acquire, the more features will unlock in the game. In Game Economy What is a PIX? A PIX is a 10x10m2 hexagon-shaped tile of land, categorized into nine different types of classifications and divided into five different tiers of ranking hierarchy. These classifications are representations of what its pix geographical environment holds. What is a Pack Drop? PLANET IX will have weekly pack drops where new PIX packs can be bought. These drops will be announced on our Discord channel in advance – so you’ll be ready for it. How much will the packs cost? We are currently looking at a range from €50.00 to €2 500 per pack, depending on the amount of PIX in the packs. Can I buy my packs with Cryptocurrencies? Yes, we will offer in-game purchases with cryptocurrencies. The same will apply to withdrawals. We have decided to use Coinbase commerce to handle all our transactions; therefore, if you want to use a credit or debit card you will have to go through your Coinbase account first. It's still possible to use Coinbase commerce without having an actual Coinbase account. What can I do with all my assets in the game? The first mission is to trade, and to do so frequently! The in-game currency will be transferable into real money - the same as other blockchain-based games. The more PIX sites you acquire, the larger your community will become. Through collaborations with other players, you will be able to gain more assets and become more successful in the game – while doing your part to create a more sustainable real-world earth. You, and millions of other players like you, are given an amazing opportunity to play a part in the creation of a virtual planet. The possibilities are endless! What is a tier? A tier is best translated as a categorisation of the tracts of land or PIX. We are categorising the PIX from “Legendary” (most valuable sites, such as city centres) all the way down to “Common” (lesser commercial value, such as deserts). Each pack will include ALL tiers, no matter the price of the pack. We believe this is a fair and equal way to include everyone and give every player equal access. Players will soon realise that the most popular PIX can be found in a smaller pack; however, your chances of getting higher valued PIX will always be determined by the size of the pack, which will cost more.
