Welcome back! I know it's been a while but I'm trying to get settled into school again and it takes so much of my time. I'll try to get a regular schedule going soon. Which location should I go to next? Leave a comment down below! The city entered the railroad game in 1902 with the construction of Union Station, and the largest part of the building has stood there ever since. Inside the station there is endless amounts of memorabilia to be seen, and you can even donate to buy some of it. There are a few more artifacts to be seen as well, such as the AC Interlocking Tower and an Erie Lackawanna bay window caboose. Three mainlines pass by the station, which are: CSX Columbus Sub, Ex C&O, North-South NS Sandusky Sub, Ex N&W, North-South CSX Indianapolis Sub, Ex Erie, New York Central, Big Four, East-West There are two yards in the vicinity, one for each railroad company. About 60 trains pass through every day. There are eight diamond crossings, putting Marion right between Deshler and Fostoria, which have two and twelve respectively. However in Marion you can get much closer to the diamonds. I hope you enjoyed this video! Leave a like and a sub if you did.
