Original Cocktail: Old Salt

The old Salt was created because my good friend and colleague Jimmy McMillan challenged me to use Wray and Nephew overproof Jamaican rum as the main spirit in a cocktail. The idea here was to create something easy to drink and not feel the heat of the 126 proof rum. This drink was the result of that challenge and while I have not had the balls to put it on a menu, it has become a favorite amongst the bartenders and some regulars at my bar.
