Keypad Based Security System Security is our main concern in every aspect of our life. So to make sure that our doors in offices or homes or lockers are secured and only authorized people can access to enter. We build this project of interfacing 4*3 Keypad with Arduino and Also LCD. Working Principle: 1.The user has to enter the passcode and then press * to confrim 2. If the code is correct, door will open ( Here servo motor is actuated) 3) Once opened, user can close the door by pressing * or we can change the code by pressing #. Once new code is entered press * to confirm 4)If code is incorrect, door will remain closed and warning will be displayed. Applications: 1) Main gate lock system 2)Personal lockers 3) Atms Further developments: 1) To further increase the security, we can attach another security check like fingerprint sensor or RFID sensor. 2)Servo motor can be replaced by any actuator or relays for specific use. Components used: 1. Arduino Uno 2. 20 x 4 LCD ( LM044L ) 3. 4 x 3 keypad
