This is a tribute group to the jonas brothers themselfs. Not to their music. We love them and their music. -Why "Mary" Sisters? We searched a little, and, we found Jonas derived from the name "Jonah". Its usage is English and Biblical, and means "Dove". So, we searched again,and found "Mary" which usage is english and biblical too. It means "Love" or "Beloved". We loved how it contrasted with Jonas and its mean, so that's why we're the Mary Sisters :'3 -Why "Bella"? Joseph means "He will add". So...We didn't know what to search XD. So we decided to use one of "Joe's girl counterpart" nicknames: Bella. -Why "Kelsey"? Nicholas means "Victory" or things related to that. Kelsey means "Ship victory". -Why "Cornelia"? Kevin means "Birth" ...and "Gentle, Kind, and Handsome" lol The cute romantic one. So, then we searched and found Cornelia and this was what it meant: Feminine form of CORNELIUS. In the 2nd century BC it was borne by Cornelia Scipionis Africana (the daughter of the military hero Scipio Africanus), the mother of the two reformers known as the Gracchi. After her death she was regarded as an example of the ideal Roman woman. The name was revived in the 18th century. So, for us, Cornelia means "Death", opposite of "Birth" -Why not "Joanna, Nichole and Paulina?" Because they're too obvious, and you know, we're not "The Jonas Sisters".
