CONSTANT KICKDOWNS + NICE ZF | Journey On The 57 | E126 (LX09 FCC) | ADL Enviro 400 Trident

While everyone else local to Kingston was chasing down buses on SWR RRP, I managed to find this and what a journey it was! Big up this driver who decided to give E126 his all between Wimbledon and Kingston, with his foot flat to the floor for pretty much the whole time. In some sections he was constantly downshifting (e.g at 02:15), but in other places he just used full kickdown accelerating up to speed. This specific bus seems to be in semi-limp mode, the revs take much longer to build up than other E400s. However in a weird way it made the journey better, meaning we were able to hold our gears for longer without breaking the speed limit. It almost died up the slightest of inclines, taking 10 seconds just to get out of 1st gear up Coombe Lane West. But a really audible and sweet-sounding ZF certainly made it a brilliant journey overall. I will definitely be coming back to the 57 after this, it seems Sunday is a good day to get a decent run as this and 2 other past journeys have proven that.
