Now the rail action moves across central Iowa as we catch four more Union Pacific trains on the Boone Subdivision and Clinton Subdivision later that same day. A great bridge shot in classic Boone Sub territory. 🚄 Train 2 Eastbound Intermodal Z-Train on the Clinton Sub, east of Boone. High-priority containers cruising toward Chicago. 🚧 Train 3 Westbound Empty Coal Train at the same Clinton Sub location. Only minutes after the Z-train, making for a tight meet. 🚂 Train 4 Westbound Manifest on the Clinton Sub, wrapping up a busy evening of UP rail traffic across central Iowa. These trains continue the story from earlier in the day, starting with our morning catches in Kennard, Nebraska and Whiting, Iowa, and the military/manifest and intermodal at Maple River Junction that afternoon.
