On the auspicious occasion of Sani Peyarchi, we are visiting the powerful Mangala Sani Bhagwan Temple at Thirukodiyalur. 📜 Brief History This sacred temple is located near Thirumeeyachur, an ancient holy region of Chola Nadu, situated on the southern banks of the sacred River Cauvery. Thirumeeyachur is famous for the Arulmigu Lalithambigai Sametha Arulmigu Meganatha Swamy Temple, which is traditionally believed to be the place where Sri Lalitha Sahasranama Archana began. To the west of this sacred temple lies Thirukodiyalur, where Mangala Sani Bhagwan blesses devotees. The unique spiritual significance of this temple is: • Sani Bhagwan appears here as Anugraha Moorthy (Blessing Form) • Devotees believe if one carries heavy karmic sins, it may be difficult even to reach this temple •Those who finally visit and worship here receive relief from karmic burdens Because of this, the temple is considered a powerful Parihara Sthalam for all doshas, especially: • Sani Dosham • Karma related suffering • Delays in life progress • Financial struggles • Personal obstacles Devotees believe all doshas are relieved by the blessings of Sani Bhagwan here. 🚗 Our Travel Experience For this temple visit, I travelled from Kumbakonam and stayed there before visiting the temple.
