The sole survivor of the Air India crash has said his brother’s death in the disaster had left him broken.Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, from Leicester, escaped the wreckage of the London-bound Boeing 787, which crashed shortly after take-off in ­Ahmedabad on June 12. Almost four months after the tragedy, Ramesh, who sat near the emergency exit in seat 11A, spoke of his survivor’s guilt and nightmares after the other 242 people onboard the Dreamliner were killed, including his brother, Ajay, who had been sitting across the aisle. He wore a New York Yankees cap in memory of Ajay, who owned an identical cap and was wearing it on the flight. Ramesh said he would lie awake at night and had become withdrawn since the tragedy. “I get flashbacks all the time. I just stay awake — I sleep maybe three to four hours,” he added. “Yes, it’s a miracle I survived, but I lost everything — I lost my brother.
