I sewed the knit Markina Dress from Itch to Stitch & this project brings together the best of both worlds: effortless style and all-day comfort...thanks to a gorgeous stretchy knit fabric. I picked up a beautiful modal spandex in Birmingham (a little fabric souvenir!). I'm also cheeky cause I skipped the buttonholes on the placket, since the stretch makes it easy to slip on over your head. Today, I’m sharing from cutting and interfacing to marking and stitching the bust darts for that perfect fit. I’ll also cover constructing neckline facings, the placket, attaching the waistband, and all the little steps in between. With cup sizes and thoughtful shaping, this pattern gives such a custom fit.
