Under the bonnet is a carb-fed 670hp 347ci Ford Windsor, spinning to 7,500rpm, fed through a 4-speed Hollinger dog box and a 4-link 9-inch rear. At only 1450kg, this little rocketship has been officially clocked at 298km/h across the Mountain Straight. Prepared by Maverick Performance, the Capri is one of the fiercest weapons in the TCM field — and Adam doesn’t hold back as he pushes it to the absolute limit against some seriously tough opposition.
