Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans. ⬇️ See more below ⬇️ In this video we upgrade our Mini Baja mini bike and remove the old single speed jack-shaft on the MB200 and replace it with a sweet 30 series TAV 2 clone torque converter. The install requires some mods to work, but holy smokes is it better! More speed and torque...yes please! My kit came with a 10 tooth sprocket and with the stock 50 tooth back sprocket we were able to hit 38mph top speed! It climbs hills like never before too...this torque converter is super worth it! Quick tips! 1. Make sure to not over-torque the driven nut on the rear pulley. If you do it will bend the circlip on the opposite side, or worse ruin it. Torque it down until you see the circlip bend ever so slightly, and then back it off until it lays flat again. 2. Use blue thread locker on the cover bolts so you don't lose them and don't He-man them in or you'll chew up the bolt holes on the cover. 3. If your engine shaft is beveled on the engine side, you way want to swap placement of two driver spacers, so the thick sleeve spacer is first then the washer shim to avoid bending the washer into a cup shape when you torque it down. Note: Bike is actually a 2007, not a 2009 as mentioned in the video.
